Adventure Guides

Kassity Seward

Snow Adventure Guide

Kassity is a passionate snowboarder who is always pushing her limits; whether she’s stomping new tricks in the terrain park, or hiking off to lesser known areas in search of fresh lines. Although she is an adventure seeker, safety is always first in Kassity’s books. She ski patrols at Sunridge Ski Area in Edmonton, and is also a certified Emergency Medical Responder (but that doesn’t stop her from throwing herself down the mountain). During the off-season Kassity has been known to try her luck at DH mountain biking, and is anxious to do so again this summer.

Ryan White

Bike & Snow Adventure Guide, Transportation Manager

My name is Ryan and I’ll be your driver today…maybe your guide…maybe just an adventure buddy! I’ve always been an outdoorsy kind of guy and I love gear, to the point where if you see me selling anything then you better find out if I’m sick or what I’m making room for. My gear room is full of everything, climbing, diving, snorkelling, kayaking, hunting, downhill biking, cyclo-cross, snow shoeing, snowboarding, etc. I’m addicted to anything under the sun and I hope to see you out there teaching me something new.

Michelle Kirkwood

Snow Adventure Guide

Michelle joined Most Epic as a guide in 2013. Her seasons used to consist of jamming in a car for a white-knuckle drive to the mountains for a couple days. Then, she went on a Most Epic trip where her life changed forever. It was like nothing she had ever experienced before; the laughs, the friends, the party and the pow. LIGHT BULB! By combining her love to shred with her love for power she would become… Michelle The Adventure Guide! On the mountain, you’ll find her in the trees or hiking out of a wrong turn. She collects ski-ties on her snow pants like candy and lives for the apres-ski hot tub.

Lane Sieben

Bike & Snow Adventure Guide

Growing up on the prairies of Saskatchewan Lane started riding any small hill he could find at an early age. From shovelling snow for picnic table jumps to towing into kickers behind snowmobiles he learned to earn his turns. He finally escaped to the mountains after high school where he worked at Fortress Mountain as a snow cat operator and snow maker. Grooming the slopes by night and riding fresh pow all day to get his snowboarding fix. Getting involved with Most Epic two years ago introduced him to his new passion of mountain biking. Whether shredding dirt down hill at a resort, pushing hard on a cross country single track or rolling his fat bike on a winter trail he’s out pedalling as often as he can! This winter season he plans to get more back country experience with his AST#1 under his belt and a new split board from our sponsor Nitro.

Alex Lee

Operations Director

Alex’s first experience on the Rocky mountain’s was when he was only a child. His parents, being new to the country, had unknowingly bought him cross country ski’s and enrolled him into skiing lessons at Marmot Basin. He still remembers the look on his instructors face when he had found out Alex had skied the entire day on a mountain with only cross country ski’s. He told Alex: “If you can ride down this mountain on cross country ski’s you will be a better rider than me one day”. With that, he put a huge smile on a child’s face which would change his life from then on. Those tiny words of encouragement was all Alex needed, his passion for skiing and snowboarding grew as the years went by. So did his love for the mountains, environment, and nature surrounding it. This eventually led to Alex joining the industry as a professional tour guide. With over seven years of experience tour guiding as well as over two decades of travelling into the Rocky Mountains, Alex brings an impressive amount of knowledge in mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, and rafting. His background as a network engineer, experience as a manager, and love for the mountains has given him the necessary skills to join forces with Jen and Andrew to create Most Epic Adventures.
